NEWS FROM THE 30th DUNDEE GUIDES (Friday night)
At the time of writing the Friday Night Guide Company is looking forward to a special event in our lovely new hall. The company is 70 years old, having been started in 1939 and we are having a party! All past and present Guides and leaders have been invited. There has also been good local press coverage and hopefully the evening will help to showcase the new hall to our community.
Apart from this celebration we have a full programme planned to Christmas ncluding craft, carol singing at Ashludie and of course a trip to the Panto.
As ever we wish our friends in the church well and I wish especially to thank George Cowieson for his help in getting us settled into the hall. I know George leads a team but he is very patient and willing with everyone.
The Guides would not have functioned over the last 70 years without the support of Barnhill St. Margaret’s Church. All I can say is thank you. I believe it has been worthwhile!
