Thursday Night Guides (30thB Company)
This year we have been busy celebrating the Guiding Centenary, with celebrations at the Whitehall Theatre and taking over the Carnival a few weeks ago. We have a group joining the Centenary Camp for the whole of Dundee at the end of May. Chloe one of our leaders has been involved in this. We have four guides who will be completing their Baden Powell soon which is very exciting for us. We will hopefully have two newly qualified leaders, Stephanie Ritchie and Rachel Spink, by the end of term though we will lose Rachel to University in Glasgow after the summer. We wish her all the best.
We celebrated Burns night with live accordion music and the Chinese New Year and Easter with lots of food and crafts. We have visited the Fire Station at Macapline Road recently as well as a trip bowling. We are using the grounds on these late nights and hope to do some outdoor cooking.
