Holiday Club July 2010
"Rocky's Plaice"
We had great fun at the Holiday Club which took place between Monday 5 and Friday 9 July. The children enjoyed
themselves immensely through all the activities throughout the week. Peter came in every day to tell us a story
about the early Church. 
Peter tells his storyOn Monday we had the Boomerang story to tell us of the Hope of the Ascension. On Tuesday
we had the Torch story which told us how to Be Filled with the Holy Spirit at Pentecost. Wednesday was the Mat
story, this was the story of the lame man and how, because he Had Faith, was able to walk again. The Coat story
told us of the Love of Dorcas and the Sheet story encouraged us to Tell the story of Jesus.
Our Church Service on 11 July gave the congregation a chance to see and hear some of the activities, craft and songs etc. We also had a photo presentation in the hall and you can see some of these here on the web site.
We would like to thank all who took part – all those who shared their time,talent and money to help make the Holiday Club such a success.
