Church Flowers

 

VOLUNTEERS URGENTLY REQUIRED!!

We are very grateful to the ladies in our flower team who give of their time and talents to decorate our sanctuary with fresh flower arrangements every Sunday.  They do a wonderful job. 

After the service, these flowers are gifted each week to people in our congregation or parish who are ill or have recently been bereaved.  Sometimes the flowers are given to people to mark special anniversaries, birthdays or achievements.  This is a wonderful ministry reminding people that they are not forgotten and that we, their church family, are thinking and praying for them.

 

But NOW we need more volunteers to help.  Is this your gift?  Should you be using your talent?  There are several people in our congregation who go to floral art classes and who love flower arranging who could and should be using their gifts.  If you want to find out more information about becoming involved with the Flower Team then please .

 

We are extremely grateful to all those who donate money each week to purchase our flowers.  There are still some free dates available on our yearly calendar and should you wish to take part then please contact Alison, our church secretary on 737294 or add your name to the list at the main door of the church.
