Children are welcome at both our Sunday services. However, should you prefer, a crèche facility is available at our 10.30am Sunday service. Children can be dropped off with our crèche volunteers in the session room from 10.20am.
All Children are particularly welcome at our Contemporary All Age Worship service where a table is available with crafts and activities linked to the theme of the Service. This is held at 9.15 every Sunday in the church.
Our Youth Club re-started on Sunday 16 January 2022 and will be open every 2nd Sunday to all young people in S1 and above. We meet from 7pm to 9pm in the Church Hall. There are lots of activities including sports, games, crafts and bingo. If you are looking for a Duke of Edinburgh placement, then you would be welcome to become a volunteer leader at the club. In addition anyone wishing to help would be most welcome. Please e-mail below or contact the Church Office. Chi Rho and Youth club run on alternate Sundays – dates circulated in advance. For further information on Chi-Rho or Youth Club please send an email to email@example.com
Upcoming Youth Club Date: Sunday 22 May
Our Chi Rho group is for young people P6 and older. We gather every 2nd Sunday as part of the 10.30am Sunday service but move to the Church Hall to continue our own bible-based discussion and activities. These activities usually centre around food and games which are linked with the theme of that week’s service.
Upcoming Chi-Rho dates:
Sunday 15 May
This is a once-a-month time of craft, worship and eating together for the whole family in the Church Hall. Normally held on the last Saturday in the month at 4pm, we start with some fun crafts, have something nice to eat, then end with a bible story and some songs. Suitable for all ages, children must be accompanied by an adult.
Our future meeting dates are:
A week long bible-based holiday club suitable for all primary school children. Running from 10am to 12 noon, Monday to Friday in the Church Hall, with a special service on the final Sunday. Lots of games, activities and crafts suitable for all. Children can be dropped off and snack is provided.
STOP PRESS: This year we will have a joint Holiday Club in St James Church, Broughty Ferry from Monday 8th August to Friday 12 August. The theme will be Pyramid Rock – the story of Joseph.
Our groups are for parents/grandparents who have care of pre-school children and would like an opportunity to meet up with others in the same position. This time together gives a chance for children to socialise with each other and for adults to have some support and company. We meet on Tuesday and Thursday mornings, 9.30am – 11am during school term time.

Rainbows is for girls age 5-7. Being a Rainbow is all about having the space to learn new things and have fun. Through taking part in a range of activities with girls of their own age, Rainbows develop self confidence and make lots of new friends. We do arts and crafts, play games, learn new skills, earn badges, have campfires and make a promise to be kind and helpful.
Brownies is about getting together to work on badges, learn new skills, play games and see friends. It’s about trying activities and going to events, day trips, sleepovers, camps and holidays.
All Brownies are sure to try new things and take on a broad range of challenges as they explore the topics that sit within our six programme themes – Know Myself, Express Myself, Be Well, Have Adventures, Take Action and Skills For My Future.
Guides have a varied programme designed to inspire and challenge girls from age 10 – 14 years of age. They will be involved in exciting activities at regular meetings to special events and trips away. The Guides will work on different badges and awards which will allow them to develop new skills and try new challenges.
